Empowering women through the Wasl Foundation is the most straightforward task. We identify women from marginalized sections of society, such as women living in slums and low-income groups, who desire to lead a quality life. We have identified a few areas throughout Vijayawada and neighboring cities where our volunteers teach skills such as Loom work, embroidery work, stitching/sewing, DTP, data entry, etc., which enables dignified jobs for women to stand on their own.
